Is IMPHO a Scam?

What is IMPHO?

How  to get started with Internet marketing — that is the great question. There are so many programs out there — good, bad and everything in between — that it can become maddening at times to figure out where to begin. I’m Rick, and the quest of effective internet marketing is a major thrust here at as we review IMPHO. Today, we’ll take a look at a program that tries to answer the question: What is IMPHO?

The actual name of the program acronym stands for Internet Marketing and PHO, a Latin phrase for “forum.”

The system, developed by Allen Payne, is essentially an Internet marketing center that features:

  • A forum with members commenting on many different topics
  • Training modules that number more than 500
  • Tools that can help your business get up and running
  • An affiliate program. This is especially nice as it offers 50 percent commissions

The IMPHO program itself is just a little over three years old and features a growing list of more than 3000 members. It has a good support system and ability to create your own blogs — much like The Wealthy Affiliate. The target audience for the system is really anyone looking for an A-Z way to get started in Internet marketing.

Things you’ll need to know, like setting up your first website, the basics of SEO and PPC, are all included. If you are familiar with the basics of site-building and other basics of Internet marketing, then IMPHO may be a bit rudimentary, but if you are completely new, then it is a pretty good resource.

What’s Included In Training? And What Are The Tools?

As I mentioned, IMPHO features 500 training modules, but it is important to note that the full library is only available to premium members. Starter members have access to 35 modules of the 500. In my opinion, the program features some pretty up to date and high volume training. I haven’t had near the time to personally go through all of them, but they seem fairly up-to-date and informative.

As far as tools available with the program, I personally think they are a bit lacking. They are great for beginners, but as you progress in skills and knowledge, I think you will need more. Nevertheless, here is a list of tools:

  • Instant on page SEO review
  • Keyword rank checker
  • Keyword list multiplier
  • RSS feed editor
  • Backlink search engine
  • Anchor text/link variation
  • Bulk URL response checker

Help And Support From The Owners — Is There Anybody Out There?

One of the most frustrating things in many earn money online at home marketing programs is the amount of support — or in many cases the lack of support. All in all, IMPHO is pretty good. You can post questions to the forum, and they are available to all members of the community. And there are enough members out there that you will typically get a response within an hour or two. You can also private message Allen or other members of the community and get a response. Finally, you can open an electronic ticket, but response times are a little longer at an average of 24 hours.

Price, Price, Price — How Much Does IMPHO Cost?

When you join, the program, you can do so at two different levels — a starter and premium membership. Here’s how they break down.

Starter membership — When you join as a starter member for the online education, you get a 20 week internet marketing training session, a 15-lesson course on how to maximize your experiences and dollars with their affiliate program.  And you get access to the forums with help from more than 3000 members.

Premium Membership — If you are going use IMPHO, this is the package I recommend. It cost $1 for a week and then $27 per month with a special discount. Here’s what you get:

  • The 30 day success challenge — a course with daily steps to execute, step-by step directions and tasks broken down very well.
  • 500 training modules
  • Personal coaching from their earn money at home gurus
  • 11 video tutorials with more on the way
  • Monthly reports that show you new ways to make money

Here’s My Wrap-Up

As you know if you read this blog very much, I am a really big proponent of The Wealthy Affiliate . I’ve been using it quite a while now with huge success. As far as IMPHO is concerned, I like it as well and think it is a pretty great way to learn to build a website — a successful internet marketing site. It has tons of training, pretty good support and with the new built in blogging mechanism, it has pretty much everything you need in one spot.

I would give it a try if I were you.  Of course, you can take a look at Wealthy Affiliate also, if you wish.  We know this program works well.
